orange is the new black

This is another frame restoration. I always wanted an aluminium frame without painting, with race geometry, and to be ready for canti-brakes. Got this frame well used, but reasonable in nice condition and importantly with no cracks. It is FUCHS Super Sport MTB edition, a hand-made German cult from around the mid-'90s. What did I do? I well cleaned and brushed all chips and dings found on the frame, then I did a multi-step polishing and applied decals on top of all resto processes. The frame was missing the second set of bottle cage mounts, so I made some on a seat tube. Decals have been custom-made based on information that I found about FUCHS frame production, plus I added my own inventions inspired by US "muscle cars". Orange is the new black, and as I`m putting it together with matching Rock Shox Judy XC forks, the colour of the decals fits the design of a complete bike.
