My Last Retro Project
This is gonna be my last retro project. At least for now. I feel overfilled with retro projects and all around retro bikes and components, as well as I don`t want to invest any more money and time in retro components. It`s time to move on.
I build my last retro project on solid steel frame (something like Kona, Rocky Mountain or Fat Chance Yo Eddy) with the steel rigid fork (Kona Project Two, designed by Joe Murray) and with a mix of Shimano Deore LX and XT components. All around mid of 90`s. The project is gonna be well conservative, in components and in the design, too. All black & white.
I`ve completed yet new wheels with Deore LX hubs, Mavic XM317 classic rims and DT Swiss spokes and niples. I put on Ritchey Z-Max Alpha and Omega bite tyres in 26x1.9" size. You may notice a Deore XT 8-cog cassette and old-school Deore XT quick releases. So far so good.
More to come soon...
